Ferrero beats Serra to win Casablanca final

Juan Carlos Ferrero completed his run through the Grand Prix Hassan II
tournament by taking the title with a 6-4 7-5 in over Florent Serra.

This is Ferrero's first title since the Madrid Masters in October 2003.

Ferrero won his 12th career title and denied Serra his third career crown. It
was also the first claycourt championship for Ferrero since his victory at
Roland Garros in 2003.

Ferrero converted 6-of-12 break points in dispatching the fifth-seeded Serra
in 98 minutes. The Frenchman had not dropped a set en route to the final.
The Spaniard had five aces to none for Serra and won 69 percent of his
first-serve points.
